This project took a lot more time then I was expecting. I had to create the design and process from scratch from my memory and It took a long time to get the vectors that I wanted and needed. I would create some of the project then take some time to think over my images and come back with some fresh eyes. My end result felt nice but I know I could have done so much more. I felt like I was getting stuck in the mud trying to make something coherent and not a great design.
The process of creating this came from my experience of making my own mead from the honey I get from my bees. The design came to me as a solid honey comb with images on it. I created the background by enlarging the honey bee slats image and reducing its opacity to create a nice background. I used several vectors to create the images and used a dotted line to help the person follow the trail. I used the bees as an arrow for the first two trails to help guide people along and understand the direction. I used hexagon for all of my pop-outs to show my information and keep it simple so anyone could understand the process.
